Introducing Tim Stokes - Managing Director of Business Building Mentors - and Creator of "The Business Freedom Workshop Series"
Tim Stokes is founder and Managing Director of Business Building Mentors. He is also the Creator of the Business Freedom Workshop Series, which is held publicly and privately for professionals and their clients across the Australian east coast and online through webinars.
Tim's started out in business at the age of 20 after realising that studying Mechanical Engineering at University wasn't his passion. In 1983 an entrepreneur took him under his wing acting as a silent business partner to help him get started in business and to learn the basics of business ownership and entrepreneurism. In 1985 Tim's partner stepped out to allow him to run the business on his own.
In 1990 he happened to attend a personal growth Seminar, which sparked his passion for studying and researching people's behaviours in workplace environments and in life. His passion expanded into learning advanced leadership and principles of influence specifically applied to team building, selling and small business marketing, which lead to spectacular profit growth results with his own businesses.
By studying these subjects Tim consistently won more sales at much higher prices than his competitors, something he would go on to teach dozens of his clients. He also learned how to work less than 40 hours while doubling his income.
In 1997 he took advantage of the opportunity to become a "Pilot Franchisee" Business Coach where he was given some very basic training along with the expectation of developing his own coaching systems as a "Test Pilot". He succeeded outstandingly well as he quickly developed a list of client successes and was featured in the top national SME business publication "My Business Success" 9 times. In this magazine featuring various clients people could read about the strategies he taught them to grow by 100% to 1,000% in profit in 2 to 6 month time frames.
During his first 7 years as a business coach Tim was paid by 12 other coaches for 1 on 1 mentoring from Australia, New Zealand and The UK to learn his fantastic principles of growing business profits rapidly. In 2000 he was awarded the impressive title of "Worldwide Business Coach of the Year". In 2003 Tim was paid to advise the Master Franchisee for training the 30+ business coaches in the territory and to develop a recruitment system for new business coach franchisees. The territory set a worldwide record for recruitment of new coaches in less than one year. In 2003 he left the franchise structure, moved interstate and designed his own content and marketing to promote his Seminars, Workshops and 1 on 1 mentoring program.
Over the years Tim focused on what SME business owners said they wanted most, the quality lifestyle they wanted but never seemed to obtain. With this focus he advanced his studies into systems, team building, recruitment, financials, KPI development and management. As he created and refined his systems his business owner clients began enjoying almost immediate benefits, with more time, less stress, more take home money. Some even wanted complete freedom so they didn't have to work at all and to enjoy a 100% passive income. This methodology to setup a business to work without you has now been systemised so that virtually any business owner can learn how to have a business setup to operate without them needing to be there full time or even not at all!
Tim soon realised the need for consistent high quality better business management training at affordable prices was wanted by hard working business owners. In 2006 the "The Business Freedom Seminars and Workshop Series" was created and then introduced to the general public. Since that time Business Freedom has flourished with hundreds of businesses benefitting from the information with fantastic results hard to match anywhere in the world being the outcome.
Business Freedom is expanding across Australia with workshops running in QLD and NSW with other territories and countries being opened soon through online webinars.
